Warwicks 600 year old medieval treasure. A unique chantry Chapel, fine galleried Courtyard, magnificent Great Hall and Guildhall together with other timber-framed buildings from what the Earl of Leicester, favrouite of Queen Elizabeth I, established as an old soldiers' home in 1571, on and around the town's ancient West Gate. Home also to the regimental museum of the Queen's Own Hussars. The historic Master's Garden is a spectacular summer atrraction.
Opening Times: Tue-Sun and Bank Holiday Mons 10am-5pm (4pm in winter). Brethren's Kitchen restaurant open Easter to October.
