1806-2006 Jane Austen Bi-centenary. Jane Austen lived at Stoneleigh in 1806 and uses descriptions of its rooms, landscape and family intrigues in her novels.

Special Jane Austen events have been arranged for 2006 - please see Stoneleigh's website. West wing state rooms and chapel: mediavel Gatehouse: Regency stables: riverside gardens. Cream teas and light refreshments.

Opening Times: Easter - End of October: Tue, Wed, Thu, Sun and Bank Holiday Mons.

Guided tours at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Grounds open 10am-5pm.
